I love to play with line and color -- whether making prints (white line, intaglio, monotypes), drawings, watercolors, or mosaics. Often my subjects include the world right in front of me -- real or imagined: the coast of Maine, woods, birds, the natural world, familiar interiors.

Margaret Gibbons received her BA from Wellesley College in Art History and American History. She teaches art to children, including previous positions at Castilleja School in California, and Lexington Montessori School in Massachusetts. Gibbons focuses on printmaking, drawing and painting, mosaics, and ceramics. She works in her studio in Lexington and on the coast of Maine.

Her work is in private collections, including the Josie Robertson Surgery Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital (New York City) and the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (Stanford, CA).
